Feigedalen: The best place for real wilderness

Abrove all Feigedalen is an extraordinary nature experince. Regardless of which way you choose you have to go several hours to come to Feigedalen.

Feigedalen has a variety of landscapes and wildlife that we haven´t been able to find anywhere else. From the dramatic landscape by the fjord, with steep cliffs and roaring waterfalls, it gradually opens up to a quiet and fertile valley with beautiful fields and numerous fishing lakes. If you are in good shape and have little time, it is possible to go through Feigedalen in a single day, but we would reccomend to take more time to relax and explore side valleys, surrounding mountain areas and fishing in several different lakes, without cell phone connection and most likely without meeting other people.

One would share this area with sheep, wild caribou and deers. There are fortunately very few predators, however, eagles and ravens ar quite common.
